100% Chardonnay. Sourced from the Moulins parcel (0.42 ha) in Oger that's right on the border with Les Mesnil from vines planted in the 1970s. Eastern exposure, and a true grand terroir that features very chalky soils within the villages of Oger, this vineyard site is a primary source for prestige cuvées for several large maisons. Hand harvested, fermentation and ageing ⅓ in used barrels, and ⅔ in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is neither encouraged or blocked - generally occurs in the barrels, but not in the tanks. Bottling in June. Annual production 1,800 bottles (300 cases 6pk).
