Delivery And Shipping

By placing an order for wine, the Buyer warrants that they are at least 21 years of age, and that they will be responsible for the shipment of this wine being received by a person at least 21 years of age. Title for shipped or delivered wine passes to Buyer at Nolita Wine Merchants in Manhattan when wine is accepted by a delivery service or common carrier. Wine is shipped upon confirmation of payment. Buyer assumes all risks, including risk of loss, from and after acceptance by a delivery service or common carrier.


Deliveries Within New York City

Free Local Delivery:

Nolita Wine Merchants offers free local delivery Tuesday through Sunday, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on orders above $40 (pre-tax) or two bottles. Local delivery during the afternoon may be arranged on request at the discretion of Nolita Wine Merchants, and may be subject to delays due to high seasonal peaks in delivery volume or inclement weather conditions. Orders placed on Monday can be delivered as early as Tuesday evening.

Free local delivery boundaries are:

NORTH: 4th Street (between First Avenue and 6th Avenue)
SOUTH: Canal Street (between 6th Avenue and Allen Street)
WEST: 6th Avenue (between 4th Street and Canal Street)
EAST: Allen Street or First Avenue (between Canal Street and 4th Street)

Manhattan Delivery:

Nolita Wine Merchants will offer free Manhattan delivery, below 100th Street, with a minimum purchase of $125. All deliveries will be made within a 48 hour period, if the orders are place before 12:00pm. Any deliveries north of 100th Street and/or web orders not meeting the $125 minimum will be charged a flat rate of $15.00.

Delivery times are Monday through Friday, from 12:00-7:00pm. A three hour window is required for delivery.

Rates for orders of three or more cases will be priced based on weight and distance. Please call (646) 590-1472 or email for more information.

Outside Manhattan Delivery:

For deliveries throughout the 5 boroughs, please call for rates. Delivery of 1-2 cases to Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx will start at $25 flat rate.


Shipment Within the US:

Wine shipment arrangements are available by FedEx(r) Ground Monday through Friday. Shipping costs will be calculated at the time of checkout. During extreme temperature conditions, we recommend that you ship your order via express service, or we can hold the shipment for you until weather conditions assure safer transit for your wines.

We are not responsible for weather, transit or other related damage to wines.

We can arrange shipment to the following states:

Alaska, California, District of Columbia, Idaho, Missouri, New Mexico, New York

For other states, it may be possible to make other shipping arrangements, such as to a local state liquor store where you can pick up your purchase. Please contact Nolita Wine Merchants at or (646) 590-1472 to inquire about individual circumstances. Please be advised that due to state regulations, there are some states into which we cannot ship wines at all.

Please note that due to changing regulations the list of states to which we ship may change without notice, and we may not be able to ensure the ability to ship to a state before the day of an order. Under certain circumstances we may be required to charge and remit sales, use or other taxes to the state to which wine is delivered.

We can ship wine-related accessories directly to your residence in any of the 50 states.

Order Notification Email

After you place an order, you should receive an automatic order notification via email. This means we have received your order, but have NOT PROCESSED the order or CHARGED your credit card until we verify availability and pricing. If there is a problem, we will contact you before we proceed. If all your ordered items are in stock, we then process the order.

Your credit card is charged when the order is processed for release to the delivery service or common carrier. Please look over this order notification email carefully and let us know immediately if there is either an error in your order, or if you simply wish to change it. If you notify us right away, we can typically fix your order before it is shipped.
