The Domaine Faiveley Latricières Chambertin is sourced from a single plot of 2.98 acres from within the southern portion of the overall vineyard. This single terroir runs down the hillside with an ideal eastern exposure and loose well-drained soils of silica (silex or ground stone/sand). Vines date back to 1958.
Aromas of cassis, wild berries, blood orange and coniferous forest floor introduce the 2018 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, a full-bodied, immensely refined wine that's built around powdery tannins and a bright spine of acidity. Long and perfumed, this is a superb bottle in the making that will reward bottle age. - Wine Advocate
