Jean-Philippe Agisson is the cellar master at Domaine Didier Dagueneau, and this expression of Sauvignon Blanc, the first vintage from his own .5 hectare holdings, closely approximates the style of that storied winery. A nose of gooseberry and lemon drop gives way to a textured, refined palate with a backbone of taut acidity. It is one of the finest white wines we have tasted recently, and is already receiving a strong response from critics.
