Blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Ciliegiolo with 3 days skin contact. Spontaneous fermentation, aged in stainless steel until bottling in the Spring. Zero sulfur additions and no filtering or fining. A simple, pure, everyday Italian red. The Ciliegiolo provides a juicy tart cherry note to counterbalance the woodsy character of the Sangiovese. Best served with a slight chill.
